Surimono prints are an exclusive sub-category of Japanese woodblocks. They were not sold commercially, but were private published by clubs for distribution to a small number of members, most often as a New Year's greeting. An example of 'giga' or comic pictures, this print features a bear playing a shamisen, while a boar sits behind a lectern singing.
