A set of three woodcut printed postcards from Japan after World War II, complemented by 20th Century artist Sanzo Wada. The three images are mounted together, ready to be framed. The first shows three soldiers relaxing on a bridge in the sun as two women in traditional Japanese dress walk by. The second shows a large ship pulling in to port behind a small steam-powered tug boat. The third shows American and Japanese soldiers each acting as crossing guards at a busy intersection in the snow. This mount includes the original printed paper wrapping for the prints on the back.
