OUR TEAM

  • Paul Gallagher | Framing

Paul has been framing pictures since 1986, developing his own range of expert finishes and mastering the art over the course of four decades.

Paul has meticulous attention to detail and his expansive knowledge of artist materials and techniques informs his ability to work sensitively with unique items, not only in understanding how to best protect them but also in making them look outstanding.

An artist in his own right, the surrounding area of the beautiful River Wear, and Durham and Northumberland scenery provide constant inspiration.

  • CLARE TURNER | GALLERY

Clare studied History of Modern Art & Design at Northumbria University, and after working in a number of other galleries,  began working in the framing industry in 1988.

A founding partner of Gallagher & Turner, Clare ran the gallery side of the business until the early 2000s, before exhibitions resumed in 2015. Clare now looks after our dedicated gallery space and showroom in St. Mary's Place. With over thirty years of fine art and framing customer service experience, Clare has the expert knowledge to guide your framing choices.

  • CHERRY | DOG

Cherry is the latest in a long line of gallery dogs at Gallagher & Turner. A Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a lot of love to give, Cherry is there to provide good vibes, and, if needed, her unique framing advice.
