Gallagher & Turner is a modern and contemporary online gallery and specialist picture framer based in  Birtley, Gateshead,  established  in 1990 by Paul Gallagher and Clare Turner.

We have exhibited and framed work by many highly regarded artists, including David Hockney, Francis Bacon, Barbara Rae, Antony Gormley, and Elizabeth Blackadder. With over sixty years combined experience, we specialise in Modern British art, Japanese woodblock prints and always seek to program an eclectic schedule.

Our workshop in Birtley, Gateshead is where we make all our frames and over the years we have developed the space and built our own sanding & spraying areas where we can create bespoke finishes, as well as clean areas for conservation mounting. We have frame samples and framing advice on hand for our clients to make the best choice.
