Pierre Ramel (1927 - 1997) was a French Postwar & Contemporary painter best known for his florals, birds and still life oil paintings. He opened his studio in 1956 and created the Académie du Pré Saint-Gervais in Paris.

He has exhibited in France, United States, Japan, Iran, Switzerland, Germany and Poland.

Ramel has received numerous awards: City of Nancy Award, Salon des Artistes Lorrains award in 1979, two awards at the Nationale des Beaux Arts, Taylor Prize 1984 at the Salon d'Automne.
