Six drawings from an ongoing series in which lines of grasses are disturbed by lines of text. The words here come from a late poem by Emily Dickinson, written on the back of an envelope, which opens ‘On that specific Pillow / Our projects flit away—‘.

‘I am an artist and writer based in Northumberland. My work is concerned with acts of focused observation, exploring how we record and report periods of looking within the increasingly mediated culture of the attention economy. I use a variety of materials and methods from ink drawing to digital media, often navigating uncertain relationships between drawing and text.’ - Anna Chapman Parker
